Here at Riviera Upholstery we pride ourselves on the fact that we believe that we can provide our customers with the best that money can buy. If you are having a new piece made it will be made the traditional way. This means not only do we use solid hardwood (no chipboard like many others) we also use a range of modern and traditional materials to rebuild your piece

We never just cover over the old upholstery as many others do. We strip the piece back to bare frame and rebuild it, after assesing it for repairs. If an Antique is improperly restored it will not only damage the piece but its value. Therefore we can confidently assure our clients we will retain its true value.

We never take short cuts, as we believe the furniture that we build today is the antique of the future. We encourage all our customers to come in inspect our work and progress so that we know that we are supplying exactly what you want.

With more than 26 years specialising in antiques Jens has built up a reputation for quality of his work and on going service to his customers, many of whom are still with him today. As a passionate member of the Ulysses motorbike club, he has branched out to include motorbike seat upholstery to his skills. He can recover, re-shape or re-design your tired old seat.

Maureen brings many years of sewing and pattern making experience from high pressure working environments. She assures the quality of her work every step of the way and is a specialist in pattern matching and loose covers.

Having just been awarded Victorian Upholstery Apprentice of the Year (2008), he has already made progress with leaps and bounds.

Lachlan is a 3rd year apprentice and with over 8 years of woodwork and frame building experience, he confidently brings his skills to us here. He has previously completed a Certificate III course for commercial furniture making and was awarded 4th overall in the state in 2007.

He also specialises in all areas of Automotive Upholstery such as interiors and roof/head linings.
